Sturling provides challenge and excitement for people of all ages and gender on an equal and competitive basis, as sweeping is not a major part of the game. The rocks can be handled with a curling stick from a standing or sitting position (i.e. wheelchairs), or the usual slide delivery can be used, enabling everyone to participate competitively. Games are normally less than an hour.
Sturling season will be divided into two sections.
First section runs from Sept. till Christmas.
Second section from Jan to April.
Draws for first section being looked at are:
Mondays - Four draws –10:00am and 11:00am, lunch 12 to 1, 1:00pm and 2:00pm
Wednesdays - Four draws –10:00am and 11:00am, lunch 12 to 1, 1:00pm and 2:00pm
Friday - will be open for one or two sturling bonspiels each month.
