Gary Shalansky is stepping down as organizer of the Sturling League, effective immediately, for personal and health reasons.
The club will now be handling registration, scheduling, and any questions.

The 2026-2027 PG Sturling League Format:

Two sessions: Fall 2026, October 5th–December 21st; and Spring 2027, January 4th–March 2nd.
Both the fall and spring sessions include a seven-game round robin followed by a three-game playoff.
After the playoffs, an additional event will be offered for an extra prize fee.

The Sturling League draws
Six draws on Mondays at 9:15 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m.
Seven draws on Wednesdays at 8:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.

Under Review: Additional Sturling Draws on Thursdays
Several players are still looking for a Sturling spot and do not wish to play in any other league.
Both the Monday and Wednesday draws are currently full.
In addition, some existing Sturling players would like the opportunity to play in additional draws.
To create more space, the club has asked the senior league to adjust its Thursday draw times
so the Sturling league can schedule at least two back-to-back draws on Thursdays.

Depending on early registration for Thursday Senior League games, additional Sturling draws may be possible beyond the two already planned.
Teams playing on Monday and/or Wednesday can move to a Thursday draw if they want.

League play will pause from December 22 to January 4.
We are planning a three-day Sturling spiel on December 27, 28, and 29.
May also host three-game cash spiels on available Sundays.
Volunteers are needed to help organize these events.
